This animation uses five circles - one per frequency band - that respond to beats in that frequency band.
Use the controls in the upper left corner of the screen to set
Set the threshold for beat detection; higher values mean that the beat has to be more prominet to be detected
Sets the relative width of the beat-detection circles
In general, beats are detected more easily in the lower frequency ranges. With this control you can compensate that bias so that higher frequency ranges get detected faster and the corresponing circle responds faster.
This animation uses a number of patterns to animate letters of a text you provide. The player also is subject to animation.
This animation uses three circles that reveal an underlying image. There are various ways you can interact with the animation
Press F8 to enter a search term for images to be selected. You can also set the minimum and maximum width and heights of images to search for.
Nice searches to try are "fractal", "space travel", "abstract", "lens flare" and "crowd".
But of course you can use any term you like.
Use F9 to select a new image from the search results.
Use F7 to enter a previously fetched search result. The search results will be retrieved from a local file (if it exists).
Per default, the circles swirm around the center of the images. In the top right corner of the screen however, you will find a thumbnail image with a red dot. Click anywhere on the image to change the 'center of attraction' for the circles.
Click multiple times on the same spot to make the attraction stronger, i.e. make the circles concentrate more on that spot.
